APC Smart-UPS 1000VA LCD Rackmount - Uninterruptible Power Supply delivers reliable rackmount backup power with intelligent management and line-interactive protection.
This Smart-UPS 1000VA LCD Rackmount features a 1 kVA (700 W) output capacity and line-interactive topology to keep critical equipment running during short interruptions and to regulate voltage during brownouts or surges.
Equipped with Automatic Voltage Regulation (AVR), a sine waveform output and a fast 10 ms response time, the UPS maintains clean power with Total Harmonic Distortion (THD) of only 5% and a surge energy rating of 459 J, protecting sensitive electronics from spikes and fluctuations.
The unit includes four C13 AC outlets, USB Type-A and RS-232 connections, one Ethernet (RJ-45) port and a SmartSlot for advanced management cards. Web-based management and LED/LCD status indicators make monitoring and remote control straightforward for IT administrators.
Battery performance is robust with sealed lead acid (VRLA) technology, hot-swap capability, an automatic battery test and a maximum battery life of up to 6 years. A replacement battery cartridge (APCRBC132) is supported and the battery recharges in approximately 3 hours.
Designed for rack installation, the 2U form factor (432 x 477 x 86 mm) and included rack mount kit enable neat integration into server cabinets. Operating temperature ranges from 0 to 40 °C and the unit functions up to 3,000 m altitude, making it suitable for many environments.
Compliance with RoHS, EN/IEC 62040-1/2, UL 1778 and other certifications plus Green Premium sustainability recognition underline its quality and reduced environmental impact. The UPS weighs 22.5 kg and ships with cables (RS-232, USB), software and resource CDs and a quick installation guide.
